چکیده
Abstract We consider the dispersion managed power-law nonlinear Schrödinger (DM NLS) equations with a small parameter ɛ > 0 and averaged equation, which are used in optical fiber communications. prove that solutions of DM NLS converge to solution equation H 1 ( R stretchy="false">) as goes zero. Meanwhile, positive average dispersion, we obtain global existence for sufficiently 0, even when exponent nonlinearity is beyond mass-critical power.

The authors suggest a new powerful tool for solving group classification problems, that is applied to obtaining the complete group classification in the class of nonlinear Schrödinger equations of the form iψt +∆ψ + F (ψ,ψ ∗) = 0.
متن کاملStroboscopic Averaging for the Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation
In this paper, we are concerned with an averaging procedure, – namely Stroboscopic averaging [SVM07, CMSS10] –, for highly-oscillatory evolution equations posed in a (possibly infinite dimensional) Banach space, typically partial differential equations (PDEs) in a high-frequency regime where only one frequency is present. We construct a highorder averaged system whose solution remains exponenti...
متن کاملAveraging of Dispersion-Managed Solitons: Existence and Stability
We consider existence and stability of dispersion-managed solitons in the two approximations of the periodic nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation: (i) a dynamical system for a Gaussian pulse and (ii) an average integral NLS equation. We apply normal form transformations for finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian systems with periodic coefficients. Firstorder corrections to the ...

متن کاملNumerical study of fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equations.
Using a Fourier spectral method, we provide a detailed numerical investigation of dispersive Schrödinger-type equations involving a fractional Laplacian in an one-dimensional case. By an appropriate choice of the dispersive exponent, both mass and energy sub- and supercritical regimes can be identified. This allows us to study the possibility of finite time blow-up versus global existence, the ...
